Management Team

GenNext is made up of an experienced and committed team. Each member of the team has specific experience in renewable energy, local knowledge of the Southeastern European market and proven investment capability.

The senior management team are:

Konstantinos Tsoukalidis  - President

Konstantinos Tsoukalidis holds a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Bucharest and the National Technical University of Athens. Mr Tsoukalidis has been one of Intracom's founding members since its establishment in 1977. He initially held the position of Manager of Research & Development, followed by Technical Director and was subsequently appointed firstly as General Marketing Manager and lastly as Vice Chairman until February 2004. With his active involvement, Intracom grew into a multi-national corporation and a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturer, emphasizing on Quality Assurance and Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

Mr Tsoukalidis was involved in Intracom's expansion in Southeastern Europe as well as in the formation of the Intracom group exports policy. He also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Intracom's subsidiaries and affiliates.

In 1994 Mr Tsoukalidis was appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Greece and he has been a member of the Greek-American Business Council, the Greek-Russian Business Council and other similar Chambers of Commerce. He is member of the International Committee of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEA) and of the Association of Hellenic Enterprises (SEV).

It was under his leadership that the Hellenic-Romanian Business Council was established in 1999 and which, by the Presidential Decree No 41 of 2007 was renamed to Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2006, Mr. Tsoukalidis established GenNext S.A and he is the President of the BoD.

Stefanos Spathakis – Executive Vice President

Stefanos Spathakis has significant experience in all aspects of real estate and asset management in the greater Southeastern European area. He has been working in this region since 2000, setting up companies and investment opportunities for large multinational companies. Also he has a strong financial background.

Mr. Spathakis holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics (UK) and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus (GR).

Theodore Papadopoulos – Technical Executive

Theodoros Papadopoulos began his career in Romania before joining the Intracom group of companies.

Mr Papadopoulos holds an electrical engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of Bucharest and he is an active member of professional associations in Greece and abroad.

Matthew Byatt - Consultant

Matthew Byatt is a consultant working with GenNext. Matthew is primarily focused on the clean technology sector and has been involved with a number of very significant divestiture and fund raising projects in the sector. Matthew is the co-founder of Beanstalk Management, a UK-based corporate finance house.
